The LHS Magellan Mobile App was developed by Legacy Health Services in conjunction with Concierge Software Solutions for the convenience of our residents, family members, staff, and management. It is designed to provide our premier skilled nursing facilities with a new and efficient method to easily send general communications in the form of push notifications to those with the mobile app installed on their phones or devices.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING THE USE OF THE LHS MAGELLAN MOBILE APP:

LHS MAGELLAN IS DESIGNED TO...
This mobile app is designed to provide a secure one-way messaging platform for LHS Magellan nursing facilities to be able to send push-notification enabled messages from individual locations to each respective locations residents, family members, employees, residents legal guardians, clergy, and anyone else who may have a legitimate interest in the care and well being of one or more residents of our facility and who is authorized to receive communications from the facility. By requiring users to create and log into individual accounts, we are able to send messages to one specific individual, multiple individuals, as well as all individuals accounts registered to a specific nursing facility, which is especially helpful in the event an an urgent communication that needs to be sent to many people in a very short amount of time.

WHAT NEW USERS SHOULD DO UPON DOWNLOADING THIS MOBILE APP...
Once the LHS Magellan mobile app has been downloaded, its users may use it to register an account for themselves. However, the account will not be active until the facility has logged into the server (app users do not have access to the server, as it is accessed via an hidden webpage for staff and facility management use only) and verified that the account information submitted from the mobile app registration process belongs to a recognized person who has a legitimate reason to be a facility contact, such as the actual resident, someone whose relative or friend is a resident of the specific facility represented by the "Facility Code" entered during registration, or a responsible party, an employee, volunteer, etc. There are no absolute rules as to who may or may not register. Staff members within the facility represented by the facility code used during registration will review the information submitted. If your name is not recognized or we do not know why a specific person would register, we may contact that person via the email address or phone number entered during the registration process.
